Alto Avenue

Alto Avenue was a Melbourne indie pop band in the 1990s. The EP Your Worlds was launched in 1993 at The Prince Patrick Hotel in Collingwood – an institution in the ’90s for bands such as Things of Stone & Wood and Gentle Persuasion. Tim McClean from Gentle Persuasion produced the EP.  The songs can be found at the links below.

As I remember it, Mick’s inspiration for Burning Shore was a trip to Bushrangers Bay, near Cape Shanck, Victoria, below is the song with some photos from a family trip a few years ago.
